End of Summer Party

Stake Service Project September 11th

The Whole stake participated in cleaning up and renewing Vaughen Park. Some painted tables or planted trees stained fences or picked weeds or rebuilt decks on concession stands.Many helped level baseball Fields and everyone enjoyed the picnic afterwards. It was a great day for everyone.

ABBA!!! At The Spokave Fair.

We, as a small group, went to the Spokane Fair to see a tribute band play Abba Music. They were great!!! I think it was the best activity we had all year. Unfortunately, it was a school night and some parents felt that their daughters didn't need to go because of the time it would take. Honestly, we didn't get home until 11 or close to it so their concerns were founded. But, we missed those who couldn't come and hope that next time they will be able to join us. And,., Oh yes, there will be a next time!

Beehive Extravaganza

This past week the youth had an "Extravaganza" activity in Spokane. The Beehives were not a part of it. So, we had our own.
We started with a craft project. Gumball machines, so cute! Next we made homemade fudge sauce and had ice-cream sundaes and played "apples to apples"
